During a one-day workshop, project staff and basic scientists from the fields of histology, electron microscopy and molecular biology as well as health scientists were able to network and exchange ideas on scientifically relevant topics in the field of ageing research and physical activity in seniors. Two smaller research projects have been proposed which will be concretized and realized within the framework of the Centre of Active Ageing in the coming months.
